B-Town Joins Ranbir, Deepika At Tamasha Bash

Team Tamasha threw a huge bash for the movie's good opening last night.

The party, held at Olive restaurant (Bandra), was attended by the who's-who of Bollywood.

The lead actors of the film, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone welcomed the guests along with director Imtiaz Ali.

 

Dippy said she's happy with Tamasha's success, especially for Ranbir. "He had a rough patch where three consecutive films didn't work, but I am happy this one has clicked." The actress also said she would love to work with him again, though they haven't read any script.

So, was her role edited out? "No, this film revolves around Ved (Ranbir's character) and his journey. I signed the film knowing," she explained.

Ranbir, however, was a little cautious in his responses. He said, "I am happy that the film is doing well. But it's just been three days; let a few more days pass."

When asked if girlfriend Katrina calls his father Rishi 'Dad', Ranbir said, "That was wrongly reported. Katrina calls my father Rishiji and not dad."

Imtiaz was also extremely supportive of Ranbir. "I have always had faith in him as an actor," he said.



The filmmaker also added that he's looking forward to making another film with Dippy-Ranbir. And what about Deepika's beau Ranveer Singh? "Definitely. He's an actor with superb energy. I would love to work with him," Imtiaz said.

Talking about Ranveer, the actor, as usual was in high spirits. He came dressed in a skirt-like formal suit and carried it off extremely well.



Deepika and Ranveer, who will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, looked like a much-in-love couple.

 



B-Town actors who attended the party include Alia Bhatt, Richa Chadda, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.

 

 

 



Many prominent filmmakers also attended the do. Imtiaz extended a warm welcome to Sajid Nadiadwala and even posed for pictures with him.



Deepika was seen engrossed in an animated conversation with Rajkumar Hirani.



The others spotted include Shoojit Sircar, Boney Kapoor, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Shaandaar director Vikas Bahl, Sajid Khan and Divya Kumar Khosla.


 

 




Boney and Sidharth were seen without their actress-wives Sridevi and Vidya Balan, respectively. Divya also came without husband and T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar.

 

 



While director Vikramaditya Motwane was accompanied by wife Ishika, Kabir Khan walked in with his better half Mini Mathur.
